Three Summer Workshops
Workshop 1:
Music ,Voice, Acting, Mime and Talent show
Tuesday, August 2nd
The day includes Vocal Instruction (proper technique, posture, breathing exercises, take home practice sheet), Singing with a microphone, and learning a group song for performance, Choreography, Staging, Drama & Acting, Mime, Focus and attention to details, and a bit of Dance! Concludes with a Talent show at 11:30 for younger and 5:00 for older.
*Bring a favorite song CD (If you would like to dance, play an instrument, perform a skit, or sing a solo, you can practice at home, work on it here and perform it for our Talent Show). Bring an outfit or costume for your routine or song. Everyone will also perform as a group. $25
Workshop 2:
Hawaiian, Polynesian, Potluck dinner with Luau
August 4th
Wear a long Hawaiian sarong wrap skirt (available for purchase at Shine, or bring your own from home-any design or color is fine). The skirt can be worn over a modest black tank or short sleeve leotard or a modest black top with stretch leggings, shorts, capris or pants. This will be our Hawaiian costume for our Luau Performance at the end of the day.
We will also make our own Poi Balls to take home. (Supplies will be provided at no extra cost).
*Concludes with a Potluck dinner and luau show. Bring $2 toward our Luau Main Dish. There will be a Luau Share-a-Dish at the end of the day. Families are welcome to attend. Tropical menu ideas include fruit, salads, Hawaiian chips, pineapple juice, rice dishes, coconut cake, or any of your very own specialties! This is a very fun workshop! $25
*Students in this workshop will have the option of performing in additional Luau Performances.
Workshop 3:
Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Demo Show
August 9th
Workshop description:
The day includes lots of gymnastics, fun contests, awards, instruction, individual practice time, team assignments, group pom pom cheer and more!
Wear a gymnastics leotard, or a one piece swimsuit with stretch shorts or leggings. Tees can be worn as a cover up, if desired.
*Concludes with a Gymnastics Demo and Cheer Competition at 11:30 for younger & 4:30 for older. $25
COST: $25 for each WORKSHOP

*Bring 2 Friends attending Workshops = You attend FREE !
