Tap & Ballet Combo Classes
Our classes for Preschool through High School teach ballet & tap and also encourage the students to use dance and movement in worship of God. Instruction in ballet is a preparation for classical ballet. The ballet portion will include barre work, center work, rhythms, creative movement, and learning a performance number. Instruction in tap is based on Al Gilbert''s new grade 1 tap. The tap portion will include barre work, center floor, rhythms, combinations, and learning a performance number. This is a time to learn large motor skills while moving to music; practice following directions; learn cooperation by working in a group; and work on memorization skills by remembering the order of the dance combinations and dance routines.
Students must be at least the age listed by the time they register for class.
Price listed is monthly tuition based on 9 month school year.
Annual registration fee applies.
Classical Ballet
This class for school age students teaches form and grace through ballet technique and also encourage the students to use dance and movement in worship of God. Instruction in ballet is the beginning classical ballet level. These skills take an average of three years to master. The ballet portion will include barre work, rhythmic movements, Adagio center practice, Allegro center practice, and learning a performance number.
This class runs throughout the school year.
Price listed is monthly tuition based on a 9 month school year.
